Hey ya! Welcome to the TravelFreaks’ top travel resources. We gathered a list of the best travel resources & tools we’ve been using over the years. As you probably know, we believe in quality over quantity – so you can bet your ass that the resources we listed here are the best of the best, the top 1%, the creme de la creme.

So enjoy! (and you’re welcome…)

Accomodation

AirBnB Logo
If you’re more into soaking in the culture & meeting locals – then AirBNB is what you’re looking for. Ideal for short-medium term rentals. You get endless room options, with prices ranging from dirt-cheap up to extra-luxurious.
Booking.com Logo
The most popular direct hotel booking site – and for a very good reason. They consistently offer a huge amount of properties & the best hotel deals.

Agoda Logo
The leading hotel booking site in Asia. If you’re headed to Asia, do yourself a favour and book through Agoda. Their prices & inventory of hotels in Asia are simply unbeatable.

Flights

Momondo Logo
The #1 flight aggregator, hands down.
What makes Momondo shine is that they put the passenger’s interest first: they find you the cheapest flights, unique routes & airlines, provide price drop alerts, and they show you the best time to book your flight

Google Flights
Want to find new travel destinations matching your budget, profile & type of trip? Google Flights FTW. However I don’t actually recommend booking there since it’s usually pricy… Use Google Flights for brainstorming, and stick to Momondo for the actual booking.

Socializing

Meetup Logo
Participate on meetups & social gatherings around your favourite topics. There are endless meetups for travellers as well, often times with free drinks & snacks! Attending meetups is definitely one of the easiest & most enjoyable ways to meet new friends.

Travel Tours

Viator Logo
The biggest tour aggregator in the bunch. Viator has been around for quite some time, and they managed to build quite a name for themselves (well earned, I might add). They have everything you can think of – from boring sightseeing tours, to cool helicopter & boat tours (please choose the latter).
Contiki Logo
Camping trips, festivals, beach-hopping… If you’re young, on a budget or travelling solo – then my friend, look no further. Contiki provides group tours for millenials (18-35 year olds) – turning every trip into a memorable experience with new long-lasting friends.

Oh and they sometimes have awesome last-minute deals, so be sure to check them out!

Transportation

Rail Europe Logo
The train in Europe amazing. If you’re planning a trip to Europe, then make sure to get a Eurail pass. This magical pass enables you to visit up to 30 countries in Europe, and can save you quite a bit of money & hassle.
ACP Rail Logo
A true gem we discovered not too long ago. ACP Rail allows you to book train tickets almost anywhere in the world. The great thing about ACP Rail is that they’re the only ones (we know of) that provide rail passes for almost every region in the world (Europe, North America, Asia, Australia) – and with very competitive prices too.
